The forgotten cladding scandal of leaseholders. The Grenfell fire changed all the building regulations.

Are you aware that almost 8 years after Grenfell there are still blocks of apartments that do not have an EWs1 certificate or remedial work carried out?

No one has considered the implications. There has been no protection from the government.

What happens to leaseholders while they are “patiently” waiting for the works to be completed?

This is a far bigger problem looming in the background. Mortgage prisoners and those who have lost tens of, if not hundreds of thousands of pounds through no fault of their own.

Our campaign is on behalf of the countless, invisible, trapped and vulnerable leaseholders, who are in desperate need of emotional support. To be properly recognised and helped to provide financial redress and compensation. In our opinion, this is not only a crime, it is a denial of human rights. The unprecedented situation is totally impossible to deal with in its present form without something radical changing and that change has to come from the government and at a high financial cost.

We will highlight the lack of understanding and involvement by the the FCA and Financial Ombudsman service which has been woefully inadequate and harmful.

We have the letter from Rt Hon Michael Gove letter that “the government cannot intervene”– It is the governments duty to sort this mess.

The sad fact is the government has no concept of time and no sense of urgency. This issue will never be dealt with, never be put right unless we keep trying.  It will drag on and possibly even be talked about, but nothing will be done unless constant pressure is applied with mounting public and parliamentary support and understanding and demand for action.
